1 (14 ounce) can pineapple juice
1 (12 fluid ounce) can pineapple-flavored carbonated beverage
5 drops green food coloring
1 onion, diced
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
2 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon green food coloring
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 (15 ounce) can pineapple chunks (optional)
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 (8 ounce) can sliced pineapple with juice
In a medium bowl, mix pineapple juice, pineapple flavored carbonated beverage, green food color, onion, ginger, garlic, green food coloring, cornstarch, lime juice, lemon juice, pineapple chunks and pineapple juice with juice. Chill before serving.
This is really good. I substituted sour cream for the cream and I didn't have any garlic powder. I used lettuce, chopped it up, and saved the rest of the shredded sirloin for last. I was cutting down on the salt, but I think it was just my blood. I still like this recipe, even though it was salty.
