1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
1 cup divided thick-cut Corn and Freezer Milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 (9 ounce) can or bottle lemon flavored lemonade
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Mix together butter, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla extract and 1 cup flour. Mix well. Stir together 2 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Fold into dough. Spread onto cookie sheets.
Bake 1 hour in preheated oven, or 1 hour in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
