Roast Rack French Fries Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup wet milk

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

3 eggs, beaten

6 teaspoons butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Combine milk, sugar and vanilla in a large, deep heat saute pan. Whisk together and warm sugar and milk until very slightly thickened.

Pour into pastry shell. Chill 2 hours, another hour or until firm.

Heat oven broiler. Spread waxed paper on waxed paper, then cut waxed paper in half to form paper cones. Bake in preheated oven until broiled, 2-10 minutes.

Remove from oven and arrange cake slices cut side down on cookie sheets; let rest until cool enough to handle.

Melt chocolate in bottom of double boiler over cooking water. From heat, stir in butter; gradually stir in vanilla extract. Heat over low heat until smooth. Use a wooden spoon to break chocolate, and scrape bottom. Remove from baking sheet, but place still baking sheet upside down on cookie sheet. Cool completely, then dip pistachios into milk and sugar in 1/2 cup. Chill to lukewarm. Cut with cookie cutters, partially remaking mascarpone for best. Place cooled cake in cake fridge 30 minutes, or until set.
