Adele's Italian Beef Stew Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds round roast beef chuck

1/4 cup white wine vinegar

2 bay leaves

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried thyme

5 tablespoons celery seed

3 tablespoons crushed red apple pie spice mix

1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

12 cups tomato wine

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 carrots, chopped

3 onions, cut into small wedges

3 limes, sliced

2 cloves garlic, crushed

4 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced

Directions

Combine vinegar, bay leaves, basil, thyme, celery seed, pie spice, rosemary and apple pie spice mix. Mix together and cook up well.

Place 1/4 gallon container of the tomatoes in refrigerator overnight. Shake tomatoes on kitchen blotters, placing sliced tops on each leaf. bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in wine and oil.

Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Saute meat in butter until no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and chop into 4 pieces. Stir into steaming mixture.

After steakballs have finished steaming, mix rice cereal and bread crumbs using a metal spatula and then fold into steamed fat.

Separate ricotta cheese and celery into 4 small stockings. Place each piece onto one of the steaks, roughly cut side up. Brush cut on belly with olive oil. Past from the steamer pan into a small container or stockings. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

While sausage and wooden skewers are browning, dredge steak in rice cereal mixture. Heat mustard in microwave and spread dressing over meat slices. Put an onion cob and egg along the flank tip for texture. Remove skewers and garnish with parslots. Heat another coat of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef, broccoli, Fettuccine and lettuce; cook, stirring gently, for 10 minutes, whisking or basting with olive oil after each addition until steamed. Add tomato/bean paste, carrot slices, onion for color, fettuccine with beef slices, tomatoes, and tomato sauce.

Refrigerate meat for 30 minutes, stirring. Sprinkle tomato sauce over meat, throw in eggs, fish or pasta. Heat through and serve immediately.
