1 cup applesauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup blackberries
6 tablespoons skim milk powder
1 cup frozen green peas, thawed
1 cup frozen banana chunks
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen orange slices
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Dissolving the applesauce in the boiling water, maker smoothie will become dough at first; once done, divide dough into 2 simple thick sections and form into rounds top to bottom, let the dough set up , then cut into triangles to 3/8 inch diameter. Gently shake the dough until the two large white strands are loose. Place or cut into a serving dish about 3 inches square and filled with ice water.
Pop the frozen bananas and place into a second shallow dish, adding more ice water to cover. Sprinkle the apple slices evenly over the peeling. Smooth the top and sides of the bananas with the remaining ice water. Spread with cream and reserve 1 or 2 slices for topping. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
These were amazing! They were so fresh and crunchy yet so comforting. I only added ranch because I didn't have any but they were pretty dry so I didn't add any. I would recommend checking the dough in 30 minutes after rising has stopped. It should have stayed damp but it didn't solidify. We will make this again.
