1 pound red onion, sliced
1 large tomato, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 cup white wine
1 cucumber, sliced
1 medley salad
1 cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
2 teaspoons canned basil
1 tablespoon paprika
In a large bowl, combine red onion, tomato, garlic, olive oil, wine, celery, red pepper and cucumber. Mix well. Spoon mixture on a large plate, and cover with salad dressing.
Arrange salad dressing in a separate dish or bowl. Place tablespoon of red onion mixture in a small bowl. Pour lemon juice over salad, and place over the greens.
