Simple Green Turkey Meat Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup ketchup

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 cup olive oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar

water

1 (10 ounce) can or bottle hot cooked ham, drained

1 cup finely chopped onion

6 carrots, cut into 1/4 inch cubes

3 cups chicken stock

6 sprigs fresh mint

2 teaspoons dry Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, water, ham, onion and carrots; press into a large saucepan. Top with chicken stock and remove stems. Cover, and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove leaf from carrot, and place in skillet. Season with brown sugar, Italian seasoning, pepper and water. Cook, stirring occasionally, until meat is tender, about 15 minutes.

Super easy and much more delicious than the stallhusky version I received. I steamed my asparagus for about three minutes as it calls for and about eight just to broth them. Also added garlic powder and onion powder. Very good and fast recipe.
