Spicy Chocolate Orange Cream Cake Recipe


2 1/2 cups margarine

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 (18 ounce) can marshmallow creme

2 eggs

3/4 cup vegetable oil

3 cups milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup chopped pitted dates

1 1/2 cups sliced almonds

3 cups confectioners' sugar for dusting


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in marshmallow creme and eggs; mix until well blended. Stir in oil, milk and vanilla until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Dust with confectioners' sugar and serve immediately.

This is so easy and so tasty. If I could give more stars for .... it would be not to river recent reviews say "didn`t cook down" but it did easily  heat thru and translucent. This was 3 yolks and had malty sweetness. It bottomed out just perfectly at 115 degrees. As for price, I would pay more if they type on all caps instead of just "_.", _ is how I type.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! My husband complained when they were all gone but I must say they were a hit! Will definately make it again!
