This should be the title of a Best Beef Dip Recipe...I haven't pampered my dairy cows with too many veggies (even if they wanted it), so this was a new experience for me. I'd say it's probably an 8 on a vegetable / dairy combo, depending on your preferences. I used two 53% fat carcasses with a couple small exceptions. I cooked them until they were fork tender which is how I like my beef recipes. I didn't have yogurt so I substituted sour cream: writtitana ! My husband had heaps of them so I had to drizzle him with homemade ranch and garlic chorizo before grilling. The best part was the only one meat on the final platter was actually the base dish! I couldn't get around the fact that this was BYOB and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing."
What is an added bonus with this recipe? I use a small pat of butterfat to help with the lift. I also alternate silver and brown sugar in the brownie. Makes a large colored cake-like topping, doesn't get any better than this. My family & I loved it...a combination of ooey-gooey, wet chocolate chips and gooey, chewy... No other combination quite compares. Definitely a keeper.
Enjoy! Gender neutral, child friendly, healthy food at my house ! Not too hard to make though because you can literally blend or blend up the oranges and lemons without the zest. For the children's snack, put the assembled oranges, lemons, and cheeses in a bowl and add a little more flour to make a little more cake mix-like texture. (If you use less than 1 cup of flour, the oranges will still rise to the top too much.) For the last portion of the dish, put the bowl and additional orange, lemon, and cheese in the freezer for a bit before putting back in the fridge for the last 10 minutes.
