1 (19.8 ounce) package white cake mix
1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 cup baking powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder/powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup immersing milk
2 eggs
2 large marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.
In a large bowl, stir together cake mix, flour, baking powder, baking soda, baking powder/powder, salt, butter, brown sugar, brown sugar mixture, marshmallows, milk, eggs, marshmallows, 1/2 cup white sugar, buttermilk and 1/4 cup milk until well blended. Stir mixture into the prepared pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until room temperature. Cool in pan in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
