Fresh Fruit Fritters I Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, melted

3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 eggs

1 cup mayonnaise

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup sliced bananas

1 cup frozen mixed berries

1 clove garlic, minced

1 lemon, juiced

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or tart tarts.

Stir melted butter, nutmeg, eggs, mayonnaise, cream cheese, vanilla, and pecans into a medium bowl.

Dredge bananas in lemon juice, set aside.

Mix cream cheese, lemon juice, pecans, and bananas into the blender bowl. Blend in the sliced pecans, mixed berries, and garlic. Pour mixture into prepared muffin cups.

Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until lightly browned.

After having cinnamon rolls again, this is the first time I have used almonds. My supermarket also carries ¼c. I added graham cracker crumbs, 1 cup. What I actually ended up putting in my dough wasn't exactly what I wanted for christmas, I made smaller buns. Better. Tastes kind of like funny little sweet baked goods. The crackers probably would have been better without the sparkle.
