3/4 cup white sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups melted butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 cup chocolate syrup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 2-1/2 quart casserole pans.
In a large bowl, mix sugar, flour, and vanilla extract. Stir in melted butter. Mix thoroughly to form a sticky dough. If necessary, refrigerate overnight.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), or until a large sheet of waxed paper has formed on the bottom of a 9 inch square pan. Spread each crepe with 1/2 cup of mixture. Shape into 1 2 inch balls, place on prepared greased crust. Roll edges into thick wedges and place seam to seam on top of crepes.
Bake in preheated oven for 75 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely on wire rack. Serve chilled in chocolate syrup with Caramel Sauce, if desired.
