1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 egg, lightly beaten
6 slices bacon
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1 (8 ounce) package cornflakes cereal
3 egg whites
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, pour the milk and butter into a medium saucepan. Bring to a slow boil over high heat. Simmer, stirring constantly, for approximately 2 minutes, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and take care not to over beat. Mix in the bacon and pumpkin; pour over the milk mixture.
Beat the cornflakes cereal into the skillet. Stirring constantly, beat in the egg whites while mixing.
Beat the egg whites until foamy, and pour over the bacon and pumpkin mixture. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes in preheated oven, until crust is golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Serve warm.
