1/2 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce seasoning
2 cups chicken broth
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup ketchup
In a small saucepan, combine the Worcestershire sauce, Worcestershire sauce seasoning, chicken broth, juice from vinegar, lemon juice, white vinegar, liquid smoke, oregano, salt, ground black pepper and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium and add the ketchup. Cook, stirring, for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thickened. Serve mixture over chicken.
Excellent and Underrated. I used dried chicken breasts, chopped green onions and minced garlic. Made feticcally as directed. Super easy and quick and kids will love it. Thanks.
This has to be one of my top 3 or 4 recipes from this site. I've made this at least once now and it is a winner. I find it works best with a baked chicken breast but if you still can't decide, swap the bread for something sweet - a strawberry or greek yogurt. :)
