This is a great fast, easy side dish. I used 1 lb of chicken and it turned out great. I did spritz the chicken with a little vegetable oil before putting it in the fridge, added some garlic, and sauteed the pine nuts. I uncovered the layers of the chicken and mixed the chicken with the pine nuts, then added the chicken to another deep dish and fried it. I added fresh spinach and added it to the vegetables, served over whole wheat pasta, it was delicious. I would like to try this with a hamburger, but my family doesn't eat meat so didn't make any. Except maybe mac and cheese.

Excellent and Underrated. I used dried chicken breasts, chopped green onions and minced garlic. Made feticcally as directed. Super easy and quick and kids will love it. Thanks.

This has to be one of my top 3 or 4 recipes from this site. I've made this at least once now and it is a winner. I find it works best with a baked chicken breast but if you still can't decide, swap the bread for something sweet - a strawberry or greek yogurt. :)
