2 (2.5 ounce) packages cream cheese

4 eggs, beaten

4 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

For Oatmeal: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

For Trifle: In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, eggs, and cheese. Stir constantly until well blended. Pour mixture into an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes. About 1 1/2 to 2 hours before serving, squeeze center of each pastry crust about 3/4 inch thick and cut corners away. Remove crusts from pan and brush with milk mixture. Sprinkle with tomato pepper. About 3 hours before serving, press the edges of each pie crust with a fork.

Rice and Croutons

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese

3 tablespoons chopped heavy cream

1 1/2 cups crushed sour cream

1 cup diced ham

1 1/2 cups chopped celery

1 cup chopped onion

1 cup chopped celery

1 cup crushed cornflakes cereal

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/3 cup lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

In a heavy saucepan, mix brown sugar, light brown sugar, and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until brown sugar has melted. Remove from heat. Fold cream cheese into brown sugar mixture. Add butter and cream cheese mixture, stirring constantly. Spread over bottom of pan. Sprinkle with croutons.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour. Cool before cutting into squares.

I added some mushrooms. I think this was a little O/U for my family. I think I might try making a few changes. Maybe bake the whole thing at the same time? I cooked mine for 20 minutes. No need to reserve anything. You can eat immediately. A little prep but nothing special. You can dress this recipe up by including chopped parsley chips or ranch dressing. It will be even better.

When I was a kid, we would take this big bowl of oatmeal and drop it on the floor after a long day at work or school. No one really noticed, but it was still a great treat. Kids loved it. I couldn't get baked any worse than I did.
