Steamed Pork Ribs Recipe

Ingredients

1 egg

1 onion, chopped

1/2 cup water

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon shortening

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon dried sage

1 cup water

4 slices white bread

Directions

In a small saucepan, combine egg, onion, water, salt, soy sauce, shortening, brown sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, oregano, rosemary, sage, and water. Mix together well, and heat to boiling in a skillet over medium heat.

Stir pork, onion and water into egg mixture. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Stir in soy sauce, shortening, brown sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, oregano, rosemary, sage, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Pour sauce over pork and add bread slices. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, then stir in brown sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, oregano, rosemary, sage, and water.

Ok so I didn't follow the recipe exactly... I didn't use oats, just plain old going to bed hungry so it was a little thin. My husband loved it though! It was so easy too! I didn't have powdered milk, so I just used nondairy cream cheese which was perfect. I didn't have any dried dill pickle slices, so I just left them off and came up with a nice combo. My husband looooved it!
