1 pound ground sausage
1 cup chopped onion
1 (8 ounce) can green beans
2 quarts water
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
Season minced onion and green beans with salt and pepper to taste. Add water and heat through, stirring occasionally. Mix in flour to make a roux. Stir together and cook about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, or until sausage is no longer pink and crumbles.
