1 (4 pound) whole chicken
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup water
3 onions, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/2 pound carrots
2 1/2 cups cubed chicken breast meat
1 teaspoon paprika
1 egg, beaten
4 cups chicken broth
3 beef tenderloin steaks, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 cup chicken broth and 1 cup chicken broth
1 cup water
1 teaspoon paprika

In a large pot, combine chicken broth, water, onions, carrots, chicken breast, paprika, egg and fish sauce. Place over medium heat.
Reduce heat to medium.
Skim fat from all but one inch of broth. Add broth and chicken broth mixture, and bring to a boil. Add cover and simmer 50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is tender.
