Applesauce Cream Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups brown sugar

3/4 cup applesauce

1 egg, beaten

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1 pint heavy cream

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

Directions

Put brown sugar, applesauce and egg in small bowl. Stir in the lemon extract, insuring just enough for apple filling to be in the center of the filling. Fold pie into filling. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.

Beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl until well blended. Shape into a 1 inch in diameter cylinder. Spread into crust. Chill in refrigerator. Spread remaining cream cheese over filling. Refrigerate until completely cool.
