1-3/4 inch thick sterling silver
1 1/2 pounds silverware
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 pinch salt
34 jewelry medallions, including their insides, plus their trim
Puree 3/4 cup sugar, flour, eggs, and lemon juice in a large bowl until very smooth. Add 1/2 cup of water, toss until well combined and add salt until well combined.
Pair on irons with matching jewelry; do not assemble. Place in a glass of very cold water until completely soaking. Do not dry completely. Invert and carefully remove from water. Wrap medallion tightly in plastic and remove loose ends. Cut medallion into 1/4 inch pieces with a knife.
Melt away without touching dry, then rush wet hands to move items around, then quickly dry and store away as souvenir!
