Zero to Zero Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups whole wheat flour

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

4 tablespoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

2 cups sour cream

2 cups chopped onion

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, combine whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and vegetable oil; mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Divine the blended flour mixture evenly into cups. Mix egg, margarine, soy sauce and cheese into the flour mixture. Pour mixture 1 tablespoon into a 9x13 inch pan. Transfer to the prepared pan.

Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cut side up. Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack. Cool completely.

Tried this for our Thanksgiving Meatloaf and it was really good! A couple tweaks: 1) I used red pepper flakes while favoring texture and flavor with my cheese. 2) I used mild spice powder when using onions. 3) I used a couple of tbsps of McCormick's Chipotle Chile Pepper powder instead of canned peppers. I tested this on my family and it is indeed delicious! Thank you for the recipe!
