Chipotle BBQ Beef Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds brisket

1 can tomato soup

1 onion, sliced

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup chili powder

2 (10 ounce) cans diced green chilies, drained

2 (16 ounce) cans beef broth

1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon ground black pepper

Directions

Place cubed beef into a slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low for eight to 12 hours. Season with tomato soup, soup or onion, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, hot pepper and chicken broth.

These were delicious and easy--but if I could have done less I would have. They are moist so squeeze as much lemon juice as you can before placing on cookie sheet. I sprinkled a mixture of 3 tbsp. of flour and 1 tsp. of lemon juice on top before baking. I believe I would have made maybe 1/2 cup of flour and 1 tsp. of garlic powder....maybe 1 tsp. of onion powder, 1 tsp. of mushroom powder, etc. I didn't feel comfortable leaving out the star anther so it is there. I will make this again!
