1/4 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon hot water
1 egg white, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup flaked coconut
1 (12 ounce) package brownie mix
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and hot water. Beat in the egg white, vanilla, coconut, brownie mix and pecans.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Ok so I wasn't overly thrilled with the recipe. Too sweet. Left a ton of caedar cold. But that could be my imagination running amok. After reading some reviews I added 2 tsp lemon juice in at the beginning and blended that later. I blended all of the ingredients just fine. Hope this helps.
