Soft Prime Rib Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound bacon

1 pound tomato and onion soup mix

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon paprika

1 1/2 tablespoons orange juice

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.

In a large skillet, saute the tomato and onion soup mix until well coated. Add the Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Stir together and coat evenly.

Mix together the brown sugar, orange juice, and garlic powder. Pour mixture over the pork in the pan. Cover, and brown for 30 minutes.

Season with paprika, orange juice, and garlic powder. Cover, and let simmer for an additional 15 minutes. Add the vegetable oil, brown sugar, and orange juice. Mix together, and allow to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until a meat thermometer registers 180 degrees F (80 degrees C).

Cut pork into 1 1 inch cubes. Place cubes in the foil lined 5x9 inch loaf pan.
