1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish
2 eggs
1 (1 pound) loaf frozen bread dough for loaves
3/4 cup tomato juice
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons white sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix ground beef and horseradish. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, bread dough, tomato juice and water. Mix all together; transfer mixture to the meat mixture.
Plate loaves of bread about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, mix tomato juice and water. Stir in paprika. Pour mixture over loaves of bread and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 5 more minutes. Drain on paper towels. Refrigerate bread while slicing.
Meanwhile, slice loaf into 1/4 inch slices. Place on baking sheet. Cover and sprinkle with sugar and paprika.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Serve over warm rolls or on a bed of lettuce and tomato salad.
