3/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup sliced Swiss cheese
5 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon minced onion
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
2 cups sliced white Cheddar cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together butter, milk, cheese and eggs until smooth. Beat in onions, garlic powder and oregano. Stir in onion, garlic powder and basil. In a separate small bowl, mix cheese, butter mixture, eggs and parsley. Mix well. Spread cheese mixture over cheese and cheese plate.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove foil and brush with melted butter. Bake for another 45 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned. Serve hot.
