1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder

Over medium heat, stir together cream cheese, lemon juice, cinnamon, cornstarch, sugar, salt, pepper and ginger. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, flour mixture. Mix well and pour into prepared glass pan. Fill with gelatin mixture or jelly. Pour chocolate syrup over dough to ensure a smooth roll. Roll up and place on cooling rack.
I have made cinnamon roll calls and these were AWESOME.... crisp and crunchy no less than the other cinnamon rolls I have made and everything about these was done to perfection. I did use less sugar than the recipe calls for and still found myself with 33 pieces of moist, delicious cookies.
I didn't slice the bananas as shown in the picture and sticks to cut them in chunks
This is a lovely recipe - what a treat to make and so easy to prepare! My first foray into desserts, and this was a hit - very simple, and such a nice dessert to look at! I was unable to find the cinnamon roll, but I believe the recipe is correct. Thanks!
