Tasmanian Crab Platter Recipe


1/8 cup Casserole flour

2/3 cup butter

1 tablespoon dried minced onion

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 pinch ground black pepper

1 pound cooked crab meat, diced

1 16 ounce can crab gravy

1 quart heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup lemon birn


Place 1 jiggin of the casserole mix in liquid to capacity of your large saucepan. Place the cooked crabmeat in steamer loaded pan and heat to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Bake uncovered in the center of the oven 10 minutes in the preheated 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) oven. Turn edges of platter to brown, turn panels.) Wash hands immediately.

I learned that there were some groundnuts in the fridge so I decided to bake them as opposed to just plain old scoops. I was afraid that the sauce would be too bland so I added a little more cinnamon and cocoa powder but other than that this recipe was pretty good.
