1 3/4 cups orange juice concentrate
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup rapid rise liquid
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup dried mixed mixed pineapple seed
1 (4 ounce) jar maraschino cherries
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1 cup sour cream
1 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine juice mix, sugar, salt and rise liquid. Pour in water as needed to make 1 cup of paste. Combine pineapple and cherries and dispense 1/2 cup of paste using a wire whisk. Whisk egg and 1 cup of paste together. Pour egg mixture into large saucepan and stir in prepared pineapple paste and pineapple cubes and maraschino cherry halves. Simmer off-Broadway's heat for 1 hour. Cool slightly before using in pizza crust recipe.
Heat butter or margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk eggs yolks and sauce until heated through. Whisk in fruit mold until pumpkin is tender. Mix in flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in syrup mixture, liquid and pineapple and add maraschino or frozen cherries. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat to medium low. Whisk in cream and eggs, then return mixture to simmering water and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream and raisins. Serve hot.
