2 (9 inch) pie shapes
1 cup butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 eggs
1 (3.5 ounce) package colorful jelly-roll flattop cookies
4 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped
10 sliced marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter or margarine and sugar until smooth. Beat in the flour, mixing just to room temperature. Stir in the eggs one at a time while continuing to beat in the flour. Gradually beat in the sugar while mixture is heating , stirring constantly. When mixture has reached a certain thickness, use wooden spoon to measure 1/4 cup or less of mixture into each pastry.
Pour batter into prepared pie crust. Roll each pastry seam side down and cut loose with a 7 inch spring former. Crimp edges to seal. Place in prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool and frost. FROST with frosting frosting.
Sinfully good and super easy. Cooling on the counter as I type and I had to taste test! I put toffee pieces only on half as many reviews said they tend to get soggy. This looks to be a great dessert for our New Years Day dinner. I love the cookie crust and did press it a bit up the sides.
