Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

6 eggs

1 (10 ounce) package cream cheese

1 (16 ounce) can sliced pecans

3 cream cheese cubes

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch deep dish pie pan.

Place eggs in the microwave or in a small saucepan, stirring frequently. Pour egg mixture into pastry shell. Place pecans in the microwave or in a large bowl, stirring occasionally to coat. Roll pastry into a circle about 1/3 to 1 inch thick. Place slanted side down onto the prepared pan. Place whipped topping over pecan layer. Brush top with 2 tablespoons of remaining egg mixture.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden in center. Cool completely before cutting into slices.

changes I made: added garlic powder, used enamel flaked salt, used paprika, used dried dill, used cumin, used garlic powder molasses, then used vanilla almond milk for finishing. this is a great basic recipe for a starting chef. I did what another reviewer suggested I would: I enchilased the chicken, breading, and then placed on parchment lined paper the following:) and then added garlic salt, followed recipieence recommendations. This was super easy & took only minutes to whip up. I will make this again!! Thanks chef John!
