1 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 slices bacon
1 large onion, diced
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/2 cup milk
1 (10 ounce) can green beans, drained and rinsed
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons dried basil
1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain grease from skillet, and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, bacon, onion, butter, and milk. Stir together and spread over the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until lightly browned. Top with green beans, oregano, basil, and cheese.
Bake 10 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
