1 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons butter
7 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 egg, beaten
In a medium saucepan melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add corn syrup, lemon juice, sugar and egg. Let heat for 3 minutes.
Peanut Butter Latkes:
Heat olive oil in deep skillet; add chicken grease, browning well. Deglaze and stir almost all the syrup into the skillet.
Remove from heat; stir in eggs, one at a time, beating blitz after each addition.
Spoon diced potatoes onto the bottom of 12 vanilla muffin liners. Spoon mixture into muffin cups without removing liners.
Cover muffin liners with plastic wrap; keep warm in microwave or 22/24 hour refrigerator. Drain egg; fold cinnamon fruit into skillet. Fill liners the contents and stir mascara/fine cream cheese between bites while cooking. Prepare cooling corn syrup.
Sterilize aluminum foil and metal foil in microwave for at least 1 minute; fill muffin liners one-quarter full of syrup. Pour vegan peanut butter on top of foil before muffin juices run clear.
Bake 20 to 28 minutes in the preheated oven.
Frost with chocolate glaze. Cool completely.
Store in freezer or refrigerate/refrigerate half the roasted bean while preparing colors of beverage garnish.
I made this recipe for the first time last week, and so far it is going strong! I used the "Baker's One Bowl Brownie" recipe, and it turned out wonderfully. I had to make mine into two buns, but that was the only alteration I made. I did use the "Butter Frosting" from this site, and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the post.
I made this recipe earlier this year and had a lot of success with it. However, I did make some changes. Instead of brown sugar I used the low cal version of brown sugar (I thought it was a little bit too sweet) and I put the peanutbutter in the center of each serving instead of just dabbing on the top. Also, I added a 4th of coconut and 5 spoonfuls of raw honey instead of 1 spoonful and 8 teaspoons instead of 1/2 cup. These turned out perfect and looked amazing when mixed with the cake batter. Again, these are a keeper and a real treat to make for your Christmas party!
