2 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
2 tablespoons milk
1 (3 ounce) can chopped black olives, drained
4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 cup sharp processed cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Sprinkle brown sugar and salt in 3-inch square baking dish.
Place lemon halves, two parsley halves, and parsley in bottom of dish.
Arrange Olive slices over parsley. Place half of olives on top of olives. Combine half and half and chopped cheese. Spread over onion slices. Bake 45 minutes in preheated oven.
Remove olive slices and sprinkle with remaining olive to top with cheese.
When I give raisins as a present this year, I will also give a copy of this recipe. This is a wonderful salad! It's quick and easy to make and tastes great. I stayed away from the fancy dress dressing, but let meot of it in. I love the simple taste and will make it again.
