1 grain white
2 golden apples, cored and chopped
1 seedling lemon, juiced
6 lemon slices, scraped and seeded
3 tablespoons white sugar
3 tablespoons lemon-lime flavored extract
4 tablespoons lemon rind juice
2 eggs
6 sprigs fresh cilantro rosemary
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, lemon juice, lemon slices and white sugar. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Stir in lemon rind and lemon juice, then gradually blend in lemon-lime flavoring.
Place lemon slices in a serving bowl. Sprinkle sugar over lemon slices.
Return to heat in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture appears more translucent. Gradually add lemon rind, lemon juice and lemon slices until bubbles form. Remove from heat and allow to cool quickly. Garnish with cilantro.
