2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 lemon, juiced
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Remove from heat, and stir in brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Pour mixture into prepared pans. Bake 60 minutes in the preheated oven, until top is golden brown. Cool completely, and refrigerate 10 minutes. Pour filling back into pans. Cool completely before cutting into 1/4 inch squares.
