1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 (1 ounce) squares unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chopped mushrooms
1/3 cup whole egg
1 (3 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion gravy mix
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9 inch square pan.
In a medium mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and butter until smooth. Stir in onion, garlic and parsley. Mix thoroughly. Spread mixture into prepared pan.
Place mushrooms in a medium saucepan and cover with cold water; drain and transfer to a pan. Mix evenly. Stir in egg and mushroom mixture. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, mushrooms and the bread mixture. Pour over pie, cover and let stand overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place baked pie on racks and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
While baking, combine chicken broth, cheese, meat mixture, mushrooms, eggs, cheese and gravy mix; mix together. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until cheese is bubbly and filling is bubbly.
