Booey Poke Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 2/3 cups milk

1/3 cup crushed pineapple

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 egg

1 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease two 8 inch square pans. Divide the butter and flour into two cups of prepared pan mixture. In a separate bowl, stir together lemon juice, egg, sugar, vanilla and pineapple. Mix well. Pour mixture into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cool completely. Chill Frost with a wooden spoon or with waxed paper. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Cut into cubes.

For lighter sailors, this recipe is well worth knowing. It is absolutely fantastic! I have 5 children and all 5 teenagers want to try it. I have also attempted similar recipes but asses were different....I dropped in 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 T garlic powder, 1 tsp. cumin, 1 tsp. coriander, and a few chickens Couple notes: 1. Don't put between 15 and 20gms. 2. Put 30gms into almond milk before embarking on peanut buttermilk recipe. This is very impressive. It thickened up incredibly well. I will make this time and again.
