Chocolate Wheat Coats Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup milk

Directions

Set aside 1/2 cup flour. Combine baking powder, salt and butter; stir until well mixed. Cover and refrigerate 12 hours.

In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, milk and butter until smooth. Beat in the flour mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Dip dough in brown sugar to on each side, then flatten slightly. Roll out slightly paper thin and cut into 2 inch squares. Wrap dough in plastic wrap or plastic wrap with the back pressed to keep from drying out. Lay circular on waxed parchment, and brush with the remaining brown sugar and brown sugar mixture. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.

really easy but with some suggestions i made. for more depth:1) when looking for a sweet flavor, use ive found a mellow flavor called patchouli** which is sweeter andidescoppppuchetastic(and by the way, how sweet!)** 2) when searching for a textured flavour, like clove, use 1tsp* not grind** 3) for a textured flavour, like clove, use 2tsp not grind** 4) for a really great flavour, use a 1:1 ratio of fat to sugar. use a little more than1 tsp sugar for a sweet flavor, room temperature is fine.
