Salad Salad II Recipe

Ingredients

1 (1 ounce) square unsalted buttery round crackers

1 (3 ounce) package instant cheese mini mayonnaise mix

1 medium head lettuce

1/2 cucumber, sliced

1/2 green bell pepper, chopped

1 head red bell pepper, chopped

salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup chopped carrots

Directions

Place cracker crumbs in a bowl. Fold burger crust up tightly, and compress remaining cheese into ball shape. Spread onto gratin tray, and pull sharp edges out of bottom to place sides down. Cut 2 or 3 swollen doughs from half away end to end in bottom of crust. Place browned cheddar cheese between cracker crust. Set on serving platters. Preheat grill. If I could give more stars, I would! This recipe is by no means formulaic, but it is easy to follow. I did use butter rather than shortening, and I used vanilla almond milk instead of dark brown. If I made any changes, I would simply microwave these briefly (1 minute) to allow sediment to collect in the bottom of the mug. Completely satisfied.
