1 cup margarine, melted
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup honey
3/4 cup margarine
3/4 cup applesauce, divided (optional)
In a mixing bowl, cream together margarine, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and milk. Beat in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and honey. Stir in 3/4 cup margarine, applesauce, and 1/2 cup margarine. Pour batter into pie pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack. Cool completely.
