Colored Sugar Cookies II Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/5 cups dry white flour

1 tablespoon salt

3 1/2 teaspoons white sugar

3 tablespoons water

1/2 cup shortening, softened

2 teaspoons Celtic Seasoning Mix

1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar

2 1/2 teaspoons water

10 small marshmallows

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift the flour and salt off the top of the cookie sheet. Pour the milk, sugar and water onto the flour, mix well. Then spread 1 teaspoon of melted shortening onto the mixture, and press out the dough.

Let the excess mixture drip over the top of the prepared cookie sheet, and let the remaining butter drip drain over the bottom of the pan. Place the marshmallows under the cookie sheet, and let them sit for about 10 minutes.

When the cookies are set, place them in a glass of cold water to soak for 30 seconds. Then drain to cool on paper towels.
