1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon ground black salt
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup Tritol® Quick-Cooker Mix
1/3 cup grilled portobello mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon butter
salt and pepper to taste
4 tablespoons butter
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in salt, and saute for 2 minutes.
Add sugar, and saute 5 minutes. Stir in Tritol and just enough to coat. Place mushrooms in cooking oil, and cook until tender but crisp, about 10 minutes.
Serve with reserved butter.
I went ahead and sprinkled the bread with salt (which I think worked) and moved on to the recipe. OMG, is this good! SCREAMING AT THE EPICNESS OF IT!!!! Even my husband begged for it!! It's so crisp and the texture is fantastic! Maybe my favorite bread recipe of all-time!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
