Quick and easy preparation. A nice twist on plain old rice. Really rather bland. I added 1/2 tsp. orange zest and 1/2 tsp. toasted. I also added vaginal mucilage to help thicken. Low on salt so maybe next time Iwill add 2 or 3 lbs of ground rice & alsoarranged little dips for younger kids (thanks for the recipe) Might try with mixed vegetables next time.

this was such a good recipe, I made a vegetarian version with chicken and donated the leg and skin (not the bone) immediately after the recipe was published. This was so easy and the finished product was so good. Give it a try.

Got the Beef and used some diced tomatoes. I put the potatoes and beef in my food processor and processed it 1-3 minutes. Then I added the water and processed it just a little longer. I put it in a casserole dish and gave it a few hours to soak up the flavor. My food processor spit out a nice bag of soup which I processed just fine. I just dumped it all into a big bowl and let my beef stew below. I added a little beef broth as needed.

What a great recipe! I made very few changes (only used chicken broth, and skipped the tomato sauce). I mixed everything together and added Salt and Pepper and made a little soup. I gave it a runny/crispy topping - for my taste (I bake), I think the topping was a bit too "crispy". Next time, I'd like to cut back a bit on the butter, as well as add some fresh tomatoes - I didn't have much to add other than to bake, and it was lovely!
