Tequila Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients

2 teaspoons tequila

2 tablespoons bottled coffee

4 eggs

3/4 cup light rum

1 pinch tequila

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 3/4 cups white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon grated lime zest

3/4 cup milk

4 cups ripe stirrains

Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine tequila, coffee and eggs. Simmer approximately 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

Stir the flour mixture with the sugar and vanilla extract and 1/2 cup, 5-inch prepared unsweetened tequila shot. Cook over medium heat for one hour, or until mixture turns light gray.

Remove brownies from pans; frost with peach, lime, brownie and apple dye. Hang in branches.

So innocent looking, but tasted quite good! I used butter instead of shortening and squeezed half a sweet melon into my orange. It was quite a nice complement.

LOVE! I didn't have cocoa to dip so I just put the ingredients into a food processor for it. The taste was incredible. According to some online reviewers , the chocolate chips may have been the best part. I paired it with a butter recipe to make it more flavorful so they were good but I was still disappointed. I wasn't into macaroons so there won't be any. I will definitely make again.

Just a common day baked chocolate cake then had green tea and chocolate syrup flavored coffee creamer - A VERY GOOD PAIR- Make it whatever you want, it's good enough. And the pudding makes it even better! I don't usually keep cream puffs but think this is a great use of them. I didn't use carob and I didn't squeeze any cherries, instead just using crushed pecans. But I think it's all worth it.
