1 $1 butternut
1 (14.5 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes
1 (8.5 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring, or to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Combine butternut and tomatoes in a large bowl. Fold in cream cheese, salt and pepper. Transfer to a 1 quart baking dish. Sprinkle mixture with vinegar, smoke, and pepper.
Bake in preheated oven for 6 to 8 hours. The dish will do a fabulous job with estimated cooking time of about 10 to 15 minutes.
