1 pound ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 cucumber, finely chopped
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (16 ounce) can tomato paste with added vinegar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
ground red pepper to taste
Brown the ground beef and place in a large skillet. Drain excess fat and brown well. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Saute the onions and cucumber until tender but still crisp. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine tomato sauce, tomato paste with vinegar, tomato paste with soy sauce, tomato paste with Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste with garlic powder.
Turn beef into large serving platter. Top with tomato sauce mixture. Pour tomato sauce over beef in a layer. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if desired.
