Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups apple - peeled, cored, and chopped

4 eggs

1 banana, peeled

1 tablespoon eating soda

2 cups cottage cheese

2/3 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

Preheat oven.

Prepare an 8 inch oval baking dish.

Mix apples, eggs, banana, soda, cottage cheese, and whipped topping until well blended. Divide mixture into dish.

Cover, and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until cheese has melted. Cool before serving.

Intended effect: Pleasant flavor, but mostly refined sugar. Taste: Omit the sugar, add only 1-2 tbsp freshly grated parmesan (or add half the water and half the rest of the milk, then add a bit of water and mix.) Add rum (or Kenworthy low Cal.) Imperial I, if I make it again.

So tasty!! I will make it ever since I saw all of the reviewers rave about it.. I was like, "Hmm, maybe I could use a bit of sugar next time?" I.e., 1/8 tsp baking soda instead of 1 cup. I.e., if you still use cup sugar, may I suggest trying 1/4 c plain sugar in a small bowl FIRST (because the cup or bottle of Demerara still had the yellow stuff in it), then add the rest of the fruit as you would like it?
