1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
32 homemade cups mini semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup white sugar
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Mix together brown sugar and salt in a medium bowl; set aside. In a medium bowl, cream together butter, flour and salt until all creamy. Stir in 1/2 cup white sugar until smooth, then stir in chocolate chips. Beat in 1/2 cup of each.
Divide batter evenly in two 9x13 inch baking pans. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow cakes to cool 10 minutes in pans on wire racks before removing from baking sheets to cool completely. (Cool 10 minutes in pans before removing from racks.)
