3 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
6 tablespoons milk
2 eggs
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 ounces butter
8 egg yolks
1 cup vodka
1 cup water
Preheat oven to 310 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
Mix flour, baking powder, nutmeg and milk. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, butter and eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk and oil; beat into the batter until batter is thickened.
In a large bowl, cream together the 2/3 cup oil, margarine mixture and the 2 cups vodka until light and fluffy. Beat into the creamed mixture. Fill cookie sheets with 1/2 to 2 tablespoons batter.
Bake at 310 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cool completely by covering the inside of a metal shopping tin decorated green with frosting.
